Charles Shillingburg brings a multi-disciplinary approach to continuous improvement, organizational/Brand development, government contracting and success.  He is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB), Lean Six Sigma Sensei (LSSS), Customer Satisfaction Expert Witness and Customer Satisfaction and quality measurement and implementation expert.  He has more than twenty years of experience in the Continuous Improvement arena, spanning countless industries, including:Consumer Package Goods, Retail, Automotive, Healthcare, Publications/Media, Government, Banking/Finance, Insurance, Non-profits, Real Estate, Telecommunications, Consumer Electronics, Airlines and many more.

Charles Shillingburg is an expert in Continuous Improvement in the Marketing, Media, Service and Sales and manufacturing areas. Building on Lean Six Sigma manufacturing approaches and his experience in Corporate Development at Noxell Corporation (Cover Girl Makeup) and J.D. Power & Associates, he developed the Total Brand Approach that is a comprehensive, flexible and adaptable approach to Brand (and organizational) development, deployment and success.  This approach has been successfully utilized by Fortune 500 Corporations.  The Total Brand Approach (TBA) was adopted by Nissan and Infiniti divisions of Nissan North America in 1993 and served as the foundation for developing The Nissan Way of doing business.  The Nissan Way encompasses performance measurement, Root Cause Analysis and business process performance improvement for Nissan and Infiniti's Retail Sales, Service, Finance and Consumer Affairs Divisions.

Charles teaches undergraduate and graduate level courses in Management, Marketing, Public Relations and Operations. He holds an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and has served in leadership positions (Public Relations, Logistics and Medical Unit Leader) in Disaster Management and Wildland Fire (NIMS-FEMA.

He has published numerious articles on Marketing and Operations Management in leading industry journals and is a co-author of Driving Operational Excellence.
